The 4th Building and Management International Conference (BIMIC) will be held simultaneously in Madrid (Spain) and Recife (Brazil) during the days 16-18 November 2022. The Conference is organized by the ETS de Edificación in conjunction with the Instituto Federal de Pernambuco.

BIMIC Provides the ideal opportunity to present your projects and research. It is the perfect platform to discuss the latest developments in the field of management processes associated to buildings in any phase of their development, where various agents in the sectors of architecture, engineering and construction participate.  

Topics of interest include all the theorical, methodological and/or practical advances, in building management -one or several processes- within any life phase of the building: project, construction, in-use, maintenance and end-of-life. These could be developed at the academic or professional level. 

The conference will bring together leading researchers, engineers and scientists in the domain of interest from around the world. We warmly welcome previous and prospected authors submit your new research papers to BIMIC, and share the valuable experiences with the building engineers and scholars around the world. 

PROGRAM

Conference Publications

All full paper submissions will also be peer-reviewed and evaluated based on originality, technical and/or research content/depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. The full paper submissions will be chosen based on technical merit, interest, applicability, and how well they fit a coherent and balanced technical programs.

Papers will be published in a Proceedings book. Aternatively, selected papers will have the opportunity to be published in the journal Buidling and Management or as a book chapter by a publisher classified in SPI (Scholarly Publisher Indicators).

What's new in 2022?

• The 2022 BIMIC Conference will be a hybrid conference, with an option of attending either in-person or virtual. We encourage speakers/panelists to attend in-person.
• A new event management platform will offer a one-stop-shop for conference information, including paper submission and registration.
• The conference will have two sites: ETSEM (Spain) and Instituto Federal de Pernambuco (Brazil). There will be face-to-face sessions on both sites and onlie sessions common to all participants.
